Vectaur is actively seeking an
Azure Cloud Engineer for a
direct-hire opportunity to join an extremely stable and
internationally respected national organization.
Position Summary
The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing,
implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure and
services. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
the availability, scalability, and security of Azure-based
applications and systems. This role involves troubleshooting and
optimizing Azure environments while staying updated on emerging
Azure technologies and best practices within enterprise cloud
computing.
In addition to supporting the current Azure ecosystem, the
Engineer will also play a key role in migrating and securing new
client data across the platform.
Experience with Terraform is essential and familiarity with DevOps
and AWS is considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines,
storage, databases) using Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of
Azure-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
to support application hosting and integration.
- Migrate client data and workloads securely to Azure,
ensuring compliance and performance standards.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM
templates, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments, responding to
incidents and identifying areas for improvement.
- Contribute to automation and orchestration efforts to
streamline cloud operations.
- Leverage cloud knowledge to support multi-cloud strategies,
including AWS as warranted.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Azure infrastructure, services, and
administration.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform
required; CloudFormation and ARM a plus).
- Familiarity with container services such as Docker,
Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances.
- Ability to manage cloud deployments securely and
efficiently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting
skills.
- Working knowledge of AWS environments and best practices is
a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work
effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud migration projects and
securing client data.
Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions
Architect, etc) are highly desired.

- Target Total Compensation: $140k - $160k depending on skills
& experience
